The word “LIBERTY” is at the top, with the year minted along the bottom. The words “IN GOD WE TRVST” are minted towards the bottom of the coin as well.
The reverse of these coins feature a regal looking bald eagle the words “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” are minted along the top with the words “E PLURIBUS UNUM” just below. The words “ONE” & “DOLLAR” is minted on either side of the eagle and the word “PEACE” is minted at the very bottom of the coin. Also, if there were a mintmark it would be either an S or D and would be minted just above the eagle’s tail feathers.
